Co-director
Mudgee Performing Arts Society
Early 2025, I co-directed (supporting director Sam Paine) a local theatre production of Hamlet with Mudgee Performing Arts Society. Described as "an innovative, ambitious and dynamic production" by the company's director, we combined elements of cinetheatre, projections, puppetry, and movement art to create something above and beyond the usual sphere of rural Australian town community theatre.

My role included directing certain scenes (as the director was also playing the role of King Claudius and couldn't direct the scenes he was in), contributing to ideas on the texture, tone and aesthetics of the production, as well as acting as primary AV.
I took primary direction of the multimedia aspect of this production. This required both creative and technical skills; deciding on montages, backdrops, the use of live feed, and directing dialogue and movement between a live actor (Hamlet) and pre-recorded actor (his father's ghost), operating OBS software and editing.
